Semrush changed its plans, so older guides that talk about Pro, Guru and Business tiers are out of date. This page lists what Semrush plans cost and include as shown on Semrush's own pricing page on 11 October 2026. Prices change, so confirm on that page before you buy.
A disclosure: we make Adshout, an alternative mentioned near the end. We keep it to what its own pages state.
Semrush plan prices in 2026
- SEO: $139 a month, or $117.33 a month billed annually. 5 websites, 500 keywords tracked daily, position tracking, site audit, AI search performance tracking, AI visibility reports for any domain and custom prompt monitoring.
- Starter: $199 a month, or $165.17 a month billed annually. The SEO features plus MCP access, and AI visibility for 1 domain with 50 prompts tracked daily and 300 AI visibility reports a day.
- Pro+: $299 a month, or $248.17 a month billed annually. Everything in Starter plus 15 websites, 1,500 keywords tracked daily, historical SEO data, content optimisation, cannibalisation analysis and multi-location and device tracking. 100 AI prompts a day.

- Enterprise: custom pricing, with unlimited projects at custom limits, SSO and audit logs, API access and an SLA.
Annual billing saves roughly 15 to 17 percent on each plan: for example $139 monthly against $117.33 a month annually on SEO.
Is there a free Semrush plan or trial?
Yes to both, with limits. The free plan is $0 a month and includes 1 demo project and 10 reports a day across the core tools. Semrush's page also says you can try it free for seven days and cancel any time, and the free plan needs no credit card. The page shows a trial button on SEO, Starter and Pro+, and a plain Subscribe button on Advanced.
What the add-ons cost
- Additional users from $45 a month.
- Lead Generation from $90 a month.
- Base Report $10 and Pro Report $20 a month.
Which plan do you actually need?
- One site, getting started: SEO at $139. Check that 500 daily keywords covers what you track.
- Content and AI visibility are a priority: Starter at $199 adds prompt tracking and MCP.
- Several sites or client work: Pro+ at $299 (15 websites, 1,500 keywords, historical data).
- Agencies and larger teams: Advanced at $549, or Enterprise if you need SSO and an SLA.
The cost that isn't on the pricing page
The subscription is only part of the cost. The rest is the time someone spends running audits, reading reports and deciding what to fix first. A tool like Semrush makes a skilled SEO faster. It doesn't do the work for you, so a plan you don't use is the expensive kind.
How Semrush compares with alternatives on price
